Frenos

2026

Intro

Frenos is an OT security company that tests industrial defenses through simulations rather than on live systems. As a long-term partner, we revamped their brand and rebuilt the website around it. The work covered brand, site architecture, custom 3D and motion graphics, and development.

The Challenge

Frenos brings years of experience defending industrial systems into everything it builds. The brand and website had been set up early in the company's life and had not developed at the same pace, leaving both sitting well below the level of the product itself. We set out to rebuild both, establishing a brand system the company could use across everything it produces and a website that gives its platform and services a clear place to live.

Brand Exploration & Identity

Working from the existing logo and their established green, we expanded Frenos into a full brand system now used across the website and their wider materials.

The mark was rebuilt as a 3D object that leads the site and carries through their collateral. The palette was widened with lighter shades, giving the brand room to work in both light and dark rather than defaulting to the darks most of the category relies on. An all caps serif pairs with a mono typeface, while a system of gradients, textures, blurs, and background patterns drawn from the logo adds depth across every application.

Site Architecture & Web Design

Frenos had added pages one at a time as the company grew, leaving visitors without a clear path through the platform, the services, and a growing library of research. We reorganized the site around two primary routes, the platform and the services that lead into it.

Storytelling drives the rest of the experience. Each section introduces another part of how the platform works, so the product builds as visitors scroll rather than arriving at once. Large editorial headlines and full width 3D lead each section, while darker and lighter areas alternate to separate the interactive work from the written detail.

“Trust me when I say there aren't many websites in the world that compare to ours. You brought our vision to life; was an absolute blast working with you all.”

Custom Graphics & Animations

The Frenos platform involves processes that are difficult to picture from a written description alone. Its capabilities needed to be demonstrated visually.

We built custom 3D environments and motion graphics that take each capability apart and show it running, giving every part of the platform something visual to anchor it. A custom icon set was designed and animated to match, holding the same visual language from small inline marks through to full screen sequences.

Custom Development & Content Management

We built the site in Next.js, bringing the brand’s motion into the browser through a real-time 3D hero and scroll-controlled animation sequences. Layouts and interactions were adapted for smaller screens, carrying the visual story beyond desktop.

Behind the scenes, Sanity gives the Frenos team a library of reusable content blocks to assemble new pages and update copy and media without rebuilding the design. A filterable resource hub organizes content by type, industry and topic, while HubSpot-connected forms support demo enquiries. The team can manage everyday publishing independently, with a consistent system to build on as its content grows.
